Douglas Lake Expands Geophysical Surveys at Magambazi and Kwandege

Douglas Lake Minerals Inc. is pleased to report on continued exploration at its wholly owned Handeni gold project in eastern Tanzania. The Company is currently exploring four contiguous prospecting licenses, totaling 800 square kilometers, which are strategically located immediately adjacent to Canaco Resources’ Magambazi gold project.

Recent ground geophysical exploration work completed by Douglas Lake has focused on two areas that will be the subject of diamond drilling during 2011. These include the eastward extension of the Magambazi mineralization and at the Kwandege gold prospect. [Read more...]

Formation Metals Idaho Cobalt Mine Construction on Track for Q2, 2011

Formation Metals Inc. announced today that its 100% owned subsidiary, Formation Capital Corporation, U.S., (the “Company”) has provided Formation with an update on its 100% owned Idaho Cobalt Project (“ICP”). Pursuant to Formation’s news release dated April 6, 2011, the Company’s Project and Construction Managers JDS Energy & Mining Inc. (“JDS”), have now been fully integrated into the Company’s management, in-house and out-sourced engineering, technical and administrative teams at both the ICP’s mine site in Salmon, Idaho, and Cobalt Production Facility (“CPF”) in Kellogg, Idaho. CORRECTION FROM SOURCE: Elissa Resources Prepares to Drill Sage Creek Gold Project, Idaho

A correction from source is being issued with respect to the release sent out today at 8:01 AM ET. The location of the Sage Creek project was erroneously listed as Nevada, the project is located in Idaho.

Elissa Resources Ltd. reports that it is in final stages of preparations for a 600-metre drilling program at its Sage Creek Gold Project, in east-central Idaho, U.S.A. The program will commence as soon as snow cover at the project recedes to allow access by the drill crews. [Read more...]

Playfair Reports Drill Results From Seal Lake

Playfair Mining Ltd. is pleased to provide a report on the recently completed drill program at its 100% owned copper-silver project at Seal Lake in Central Labrador. A total of 4,350.4 metres was drilled in 24 holes. All analytical results have now been received.

All but one of the twenty four drillholes intersected the favourable reduced Adeline Island Formation rocks with cumulative thicknesses ranging from 136.6 in drillhole SL11-22 to 0.7 metres in drillhole SL11-17. The cumulative thickness of 136.6 metres in hole SL11-22 comprises eight separate sections over 214.8 metres of core with the thickest single section being 64.2 metres. Potentially economic copper and silver grades were intersected in three of Playfair’s previously reported drillholes. Twenty of the remaining twenty one drillholes contain anomalous amounts of copper. [Read more...]

Linear Metals Provides an Update on Its Nyanza Project Exploration Program in Kenya

Linear Metals Corporation is pleased to provide an update on its Nyanza Project exploration program including the addition of five new exploration concessions and the assay results of auriferous rock samples from the Kwoyo and Awuoro-Kanga areas. Linear is also pleased to report the receipt of anomalous geochemical results for a large recce soil sample grid covering the Kwoyo area, located 7.5 kilometres (“km”) to the NW of the Awuoro-Kanga grid. The most recent rock and soil results appear to be outlining two or more sub-parallel major auriferous structures that extend over at least 12 km in strike length. [Read more...]

Dynasty Gold Announces Golden Repeat, Nevada 2011 Exploration Program May 10, 2011

Dynasty Gold Corp. is pleased to announce its planned summer 2011 exploration program for the Golden Repeat property located in the Midas Region of Nevada. The Company signed a definitive earn-in agreement for the property on January 12, 2011 (please refer to the December 10, 2010 Stockwatch news release). The Company plans a staged drill program on the property. The proposed first phase drill program consists of 1,230 meters of drilling. It is designed to follow-up previous drill intercepts on the eastern portion of the Golden Repeat property. Romarco drilled a total of seven drill holes on the Golden Repeat property in the 1990′s. Several of these drill holes intercepted anomalous gold values up to 2.410 ppm Au. These intercepts are at a relatively high stratigraphic level. [Read more...]
